When I found beautiful old kimono, I thought it would be nice to wear them somehow even though we don't wear kimono very often nowadays. So, I started making clothes and other objects out of those beautiful vintage kimonos.
Basically I create something that I want and I think "Nice!" and do everything from scratch on my own from designing, pattern-making to sewing, so it takes some time but I put my heart into making every single item.
As to garments, there are new kimono garments and vintage kimonos and when I use the latter, it has to be undone and cleaned to be revived, so some of the vintage kimonos have irremovable stains, which I hope you will understand. And it would be much appreciated if you enjoy my one-off creation!
Thank you,
Chisato
